I have yet to meet a Munster that really showed me up. But I'm always at the ready. Thanks for the comment, and same goes to S. and Katie.

Barick Obama is a cheese I long to eat.Madame Fromagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10303441163329031923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115083762819846316.post-61188460752590424492011-11-10T15:55:41.498-08:002011-11-10T15:55:41.498-08:00Good to see the Bishop on your list! Epoisses remains the maestro of stinkers for me. On a trip to Burgundy a couple of years ago I found 'Aisy Cendre' which is an ash-coated Epoisses that has all the luxurious texture and a fraction of the stink. Alas, I don't think it is exported (at least, not to the UK!). Oh, and I'd like to give a shout out to Munster - it's the first stinker I ever tried (don't ask how many years ago!) and I still have a soft spot... haha, soft spot... for it. : )Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14175973054602316253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115083762819846316.post-53650819752617135012011-11-09T09:52:47.206-08:002011-11-09T09:52:47.206-08:00Yes, oh yes you're turning me into a convert o...Yes, oh yes you're turning me into a convert of the stinky cheese. And living in Canada we sometimes have a pretty limited selection of available cheeses (small producers specifically) but getting down to Seattle is a breeze and will bring this list with me next time. You're right, stinky cheeses are a wonderful comfort in the fall.
